Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved, from attending an event or throwing a party or local event.

Show your support for our country’s Armed Forces during Armed Forces Weekend at the Arboretum. Join us at this celebratory event to recognise the service and work of our Armed Forces. With fun activities and entertainment for the whole family, it’s a weekend not to be missed.
Flag raising event and market in Corn Square, military vehicle display, artillery demonstration, marching band and lots of children’s activities. The day will conclude with a public memorial service at the War Memorial.

This jam packed afternoon of entertainment starting with a march into the arena by the Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Training Cadets and Scouts, all lead by the Warwickshire ACF Corps of Drums. At 2pm the Official Armed Forces Day Flag will be raised and a short ceremony will take place. Afterwards there will be a garden party in the grounds of the old rectory.
March through town from assembly point in Abbey car park to The Angel Inn & Posting House. Following the march there will be: - Pig Roast / BBQ - Military Band - 1940’s singers - Dance Band - Firework finale
