Armed Forces Day will be celebrated in High Town, Hereford, from 10.00am. There will be displays and information from local charities of their work in support of the military, both serving and veterans. The day will culminate with The Rifles exercising their Freedom of Hereford.  Details TBC.

A special Armed Forces Day is taking place in Coventry to celebrate the Armed Forces and its diversity. Attendees can relax and enjoy games, music, picnics and a BBQ, and also watch the parade of veterans, cadets and serving personnel. To find out more view the event page here.

Oldbury Army Reserve Centre (ARC) are holding an open day on Armed Forces Day this year. You will be able to find out more about what 225 Field Squadron do during their training and see some of the equipment they use.

To mark Armed Forces Day, the Chase Jazzmen will be playing at Coventry’s newly created Peace Orchard as part of the Coventry’s summer Bands in the Park programme. The Peace Orchard is the brainchild of 96 year-old Coventry D-Day veteran, Dennis Davison, and has been created by local school children and local residents as a permanent legacy to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day....

Standards will be paraded at a special concert with Cinderford Academy Band & Allegra Ladies Choir. Nibbles and wine/soft drinks are provided at the Interval. The second half of the concert will have more music before the finale with Jerusalem, Land of Hope & Glory, and finishing with The National Anthem.  Standards are then marched out.
